Student Organization Leadership Day (SOLD), will be hosted by the Office of Student Activities and Student Government Association. One OFFICER or MEMBER from your organization is required to attend the entire event (we cannot count your attendance if you arrive late or leave early) in order to be considered a registered student organization for the academic year. You cannot represent more than one organization at a time. Organizations are encouraged to send an officer who is heavily involved in leadership, event planning, budgeting, and/or marketing.
Student Organization Leadership Day is a free event which will include a keynote speaker presentation, lunch, and a variety of breakout sessions to choose from. Breakout sessions will include a variety of topics including finances, leader development, event planning, and advisor development. Important topics that will also be addressed include updating student organizations on processes and procedures, highlighting important policies, informing student organizations on Title IX, Risk Management, Appropriations, and more.
